Ingredients:

10 sage leaves
2T coconut sugar
1 cup boiling water
7 cups cold water
6 oz fresh blackberries
Ice

Directions:

  1. Add the sugar and sage to a small pot and crush the leaves with a wooden spoon.
  2. Pour the boiling water in and stir well until sugar dissolves. Let cool for 15 minutes.
  3. In a blender purée the blackberries with 2 cups of cold water. Strain the blackberry liquid and the sage liquid through a fine strainer, discard the solids.
  4. Pour the liquid into a pitcher. Add 5 cups of cold water and stir to combine.
  5. Serve with ice.
