Ingredients:

1 chicken carcass
3 carrots roughly chopped
3 celery stalks rough chopped
1 onion roughly chopped
1 bay leaf
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsp crushed garlic or 3 cloves
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp peppercorns

Directions:

1. Add all ingredients to the instant pot insert and fill with water to the “max” line

2. Press “soup”  button and increase timer to 60 minutes

3. Let the instant pot naturally release, then cool broth and strain

NOTES:
*To get the most amount of broth, you can run this recipe twice. Be sure to mix the batches together so the end result is equally concentrated.

      Hi Sarah,

Great question! You can safely keep bone broth in the fridge for 3-4 days. It can be kept in the freezer for up to a year. An added little trick I like to do is freeze extra broth in ice cube trays. You can easily pop them out for stir fries, rice or a mug of broth.
