Gratitude is the quality or feeling of being grateful or thankful. Often when things aren’t going well we can tend to focus on the negative as opposed to flipping that around and turning our attention to what is going well. This takes practice as it’s not typically our default!

Gratitude can positively impact your mental and physical health, your relationships at work and home, and your friendships. Just like what you put into your body, how you move and how you sleep affects your health, so does the thoughts that you tell yourself.

We’ve included a 30-day challenge to help you stay in a place of gratitude and train yourself to see the good amidst the challenges in your day. Take a deep breath when you find your thoughts and emotions slipping and think of something that you are grateful for. Better yet, pick one time each day that you will practice gratitude in order to help this healthy habit stick. Maybe it’s when you’re brushing your teeth at the beginning of the day or perhaps it’s added as part of your wind down routine at night. You choose what works best for you, but if you set the intention for each day, the outcome will be that much better.

Here are some questions to help guide you on your personal 30 day challenge. You can print and post this on your wall, or try adding it to your calendar. Have fun with it!
